Along with the release date, the game is also available for pre-order and there are a few options players have to consider before reserving their copy. First off there is the Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. Preordering these versions of the game will unlock the Carbanox Armor and Pixelizer Weapon early. The base price for Rift Apart is $69.99, meaning just like Demon's Souls it's $10 above the last-gen base price. If you don't want to pre-order the game, retail stores will have the Launch Edition of the game on release, and inside will be vouchers for the same extras.
For players wanting more bonuses, there is a Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99 which comes with five additional armor sets, 20 Raritanium, a sticker pack for the new Photo Mode, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack. The digital editions of the game are available now on the PS Store.
Sony isn't done yet for 2021. There are still several first-party games on their roster, like Horizon: Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok, that we still do not have dates on. Both of those games are slated for 2021 with Horizon 2 rumored to be Summer 2021 and God of War in late 2021.
